TAB LAB (2023)

TAB LAB is a mobile art studio for Kindergarten through 5th-grade students, a collaboration between Maryville Public Library and Northwest Missouri State University's art and design program. It consists of four wagons filled with art supplies and is based on the concept of "Teaching for Artistic Behavior" (TAB). These wagons are set up at local libraries, creating a studio environment for kids to explore their creativity. The design of the logo relies heavily on a unique modular alphabet created from fragments of tape, ripped paper, and small shapes. The color scheme exudes warmth, friendliness, and is appealing to children. I generated the abstract graphics with a text-to-image Artificial Intelligence network, using keywords like "pigment" and "playful," and edited the colors to match the logo.
